California Sexual Abuse Laws – Starting January 1, 2020, the California Child Victims Act (AB 218) opened a three-year window for California child sexual assault survivors of any age to file claims against their perpetrators and the institutions responsible, no matter when the abuse occurred.
On May 14, 2019, the Catholic bishops of California announced the establishment of an Independent Compensation Program for Victim-Survivors of Sexual Abuse of Minors by Priests for the following dioceses: Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Diocese of Fresno, Diocese of Orange, Diocese of Sacramento, Diocese of San Bernardino, and Diocese of San Diego. According to the announcement, the programs “will be available to any person who has been sexually abused as a minor by diocesan priests of the participating dioceses, no matter when that abuse might have occurred.”
This opens up an even bigger window of time than we had for similar cases from NY for helping victims of past abuse and as we found a lot of victims in NY, we expect there to be even more victims in California that we can help.
Here is an example of a landing page for California abuse used to find victims of any type of institutional abuse: Landing page is here
Sex Trafficking cases are something we have done a lot of in 2019 and it continues in 2020 as we are still seeing a lot of leads. As the stats will show below we saw over 900 new leads in December for Sex Trafficking. The stories are very similar of the victims and these criminal enterprises are seeing explosive growth with the aid of the internet and it needs to be stopped. The defendants are Hotel and Motels around the country knowingly letting these crimes happen on their premises.
These cases are super easy to find via Facebook and Instagram and we need to get this stopped NOW, as its just disgusting that this is going on in 2020.
Lets put a stop to this and let us help the victims and create social change together.
|Zantac Litigation With New Studies|
Zantac has been going strong for a while now but new studies came out just last week that may change a lot of things; Article here for the new studies
. As the new studies show, storage and heat is what changes the NDMA levels in Zantac. This could change the face of the litigations and we are seeing strong demand for Zantac. The numbers from December for Zantac is a little misleading as we have one larger client who was intaking everything (Cancer and No Cancer). While the stats show about $50 per lead, “cancer only” leads are coming in around $200 per lead.
There may be a case for children with certain cancers as well – if mom took the drug during the pregnancy.
You can review a landing page for Zantac to understand the Cancers that are taken is here
