Each year, X Social Media awards one deserving student the X Cancer Survivor Scholarship. Applicants must have been officially diagnosed with cancer in the past to qualify for this scholarship. This scholarship also only applies to students pursuing their undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited college or university in the United States of America.
To apply, please write the required essay following the guidelines listed below and submit the full application on this page by December 15, 2020. Applications submitted through any avenue other than the form on this page cannot be considered.
College is a challenging time, even in the best of circumstances. While cancer survivors are no stranger to overcoming challenges, this scholarship aims to reduce the financial burden of college for one deserving student.
The scholarship is a one-time, non-renewable fund to help a deserving student who is pursuing their undergraduate or graduate education in a fully-accredited college or university in the USA. Before applying, please ensure you meet the eligibility requirements outlined below.

Please write a personal essay telling us about your journey with cancer and describe your goals for your education.
The most effective essays will contain a well-crafted response, including specific and engaging personal anecdotes. Please limit your scholarship essay submission to 1,000 words. Essays must contain original work from the scholarship applicant and may not be plagiarized in any way.
Please submit your completed application, including your original essay, via the form on this page by December 15th, 2020. Incomplete applications or those submitted via any method other than this form will not be considered for the scholarship.
